I've been working on my new blog "A Thought of Her Own" and haven't been keeping up with this one like I should. If you haven't checked out the new blog, head on over. It's got a facebook page, as well.
I've started making a lot of changes, and even more are about to come. Dayton's last day in the Marine Corp is the 29th, and neither one of us has been able to land a job yet....though I've been applying and sending my resume out like crazy. My dream position would be an entry level position at a women's clinic, but so far...no luck in that area. Besides, until his settlement comes through, we need to have jobs that are close because we're sharing a vehicle (I'm not looking forward to that part). Stress, stress, stressssssssss. Of course, that doesn't make for the most warm and fuzzy feeling environment. Things are tense. I know we'll get through it, but that doesn't mean it won't be a bitch getting through it. Honestly, I'm not sure how I'm going to balance a full time job, school, kids, a husband, and a household to run. The thought alone is OVERWHELMING. But the good news is that our landlord dropped our rent (not by much, but every little bit helps, right?). The truck is officially paid off. And once he gets his settlement back (only problem being that depends on when they decide they want to process it), it should hold us over until we're settled in and back on our feet. The waiting is what kills me. That's the Marine Corp motto though---hurry up and wait. So we are. I hate not having a plan set in stone. Yeah, call me anal. Whatever.
Just send us good vibes over the next few weeks....we're going to need them =)
